is pleased to host John van Mossel, a UW Faculty of Environment grad, as part of the INDEV 10 seminar series, (2 - 3PM) in MacKirdy Hall, St. Paul's University College. John is currently the project manager for "Building Nigeria's Response to Climate Change," a 5-year $4.75 million Canadian International Development Agency-funded project that includes community projects, socio-economic research, and policy development, and partnerships with  Nigerian NGOs, government agencies, and CIDA. John will talk about this project and his 30-plus years of experience integrating environmental management and international development in Africa and the Caribbean. Welcome faculty, staff and students.

November’s educational forum will showcase two companies that have achieved commendable greenhouse gas (GHG) reductions in their overall operations. Nadine Gudz will present an international example of how Interface redefined its business model to work towards a carbon neutral enterprise and how they have become an established leader in sustainable business practices. As a local example, Jim Sinclair will showcase Pano Cap Canada’s processes of establishing their baseline and identifying their areas of highest emissions to reach their GHG reduction target. Pano Cap Canada is a Bronze Pledging Partner of the Regional Carbon Initiative.
