Image handling and computer vision

 3 Thesis Research
This thesis will present a novel road-extraction method focusing on a road network in an urban area from high resolution satellite
imagery. The method introduces the information of road features into the extraction process and makes full use of spectral,
geometric, texture, spatial context relationships and shape information, thus successfully discriminates roads and spectrally similar
buildings and solves the problem of urban roads inconsistent morphology in the imagery.
