In the School of Planning, we ensure that our students are provided superior
facilities and resources to offer the best environment for learning. The following
are some facilities, organizations, and resources within the Faculty of Environment.
- Mapping, Analysis, and
Design (MAD) - provides computing and multimedia resources such
as PC and Macintosh computer labs, Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
research facilities, digital darkroom facilities, and video, sound
and photographic studios.
- Urban design studio
- offers studio space for students to design and construct models
- Ecology Lab -
provides guidance and research equipment to investigate topics related
to the ecological environment such as water, air, noise, vegetation,
wildlife, soils and climate.
- Geomorphology
Lab - provides research equipment for studying landforms, soils,
rocks, erosion.

Map Library - holds an extensive collection of cartographic
and planning design resources

provides equipment to design and construct course-related projects.
