Scholarships and Awards
There is a range of undergraduate awards and scholarships available to Planning students. Each is given on the basis of particular criteria, such as a demonstrated commitment to the planning field, contribution to the student body and program, and public service. Co-op Work Report Award
A work term report award is presented to a student from each department/school every term. Only work reports that have received an Outstanding evaluation are considered. An award of $100 is applied to the winner's tuition statement, and a photograph with the Dean is arranged at which time the student receives a certificate.
Graduating Dean's Honours List
Departmental Awards for Distinguished Academic Achievement
Awards for Distinguished Academic Achievement are presented annually at Spring Convocation to recognize the academic excellence of the "top" graduating student from each plan.
Alumni Gold Medal Award
An Alumni Gold Medal is presented annually at the Spring Convocation in recognition of academic excellence to the "top" graduate from the Faculty. The award recipient is chosen by the Undergraduate Associate Dean and the Undergraduate Officers based on scholastic achievement.
