Each year, the School organizes a field trip to Ottawa which allows students to attend a conference held by Ottawa Planning alumni. The Toronto alumni dinner is one of the key planning and development events of the year in that city.
PRAGMA council, formed by Waterloo Planning alumni, consists of planners with diverse backgrounds and holds conferences on campus twice a year. This council discusses current planning issues and advises the School of Planning.
These events give Planning students great opportunities to make contacts, exchange information, and talk to practising planners about current issues in the profession.
