Each fall, new students (graduate and undergraduate) are invited to the School of Planning's Induction Ceremony where they are presented with a token of membership and welcomed into the fraternity of planners.
Parents and those who will support students through their time at Waterloo are also invited to the ceremony.
The School of Planning is a professional school that educates people to become full members of the planning profession, earning the distinction to become a Registered Professional Planner (RPP).
