If you’re admitted to full-time first-year degree studies at UW and you’re beginning post-secondary studies for the first time in fall 2009, if your mid-May admission average is 80% or more, and if you meet the conditions, you’ll be awarded one of these scholarships:

Name: Fellowship in International Development
The Fellowship includes double-room accommodation and 50 percent of a full meal plan at St. Paul’s University College for the entire 4a term and a 2-week debriefing at the end of 4c term upon return to campus. The fellowship is valued at approximately $3,000 but has no cash value and is not transferable. All students accepted into the INDEV program will be offered this Fellowship.
The eight month field placement in a developing country is a critical and required experiential learning component of the Bachelor of Environmental Studies - International Development (INDEV) program. High-quality preparation for the field placement is pivotal to the students’ success and meeting the educational goals of the program.
