By taking courses in computer science along with your core Geomatics and Geography courses, you will go beyond the level of a technician and become a project manager, someone who creates, directs, and analyzes geomatics projects.
You'll also be able to apply your knowledge in a variety of settings because you can specialize in a topic related to geomatics, such as physical geography/environmental studies, urban planning, resource management, community informatics, market analysis, or international development.
As a Geomatics student, you'll gain expertise in your core subjects and still have the flexibility to include additional areas of interest using your 12 elective courses.
