As a Geomatics student, your home base will be the Department of Geography and Environmental Management, which offers the Geomatics program.
The University Map Library provides students and researchers with access to digital geospatial data, electronic maps and atlases, aerial photographs (digital and print), and cartographic support materials. The Map Library houses over 70,000 maps and 40,000 aerial photographs.
The UW Library website also provides links to GIS training resources, data sources, GIS news, and geomatics software companies.
The Environmental Studies Society and the UW Federation of Students provide services to students within Environmental Studies. Geomatics students are part of the Waterloo Association for Geography Students (WAGS).
