Research Interests:
My research is concentrated in the general field of environmental planning, water resources management and directed towards the study of land use change and its impact on surface water quality in both natural and built environments.
Over the past decade, my work has evolved from laboratory and site specific studies to the assessment of larger scale water quality problems in a wide range of geographical locations that include the lower Great Lakes basin, Slave River delta (NWT), the Coppermine River Basin (NWT), the Oldman River basin (Alberta) and China (Inner Mongolia).
My work is interdisciplinary in nature and incorporates aspects of hydrology, sediment transport, environmental chemistry and land use planning. More information about my research is available below:
