Research Interests:
My major research interests lie in the general field of resource and environmental
management in developing countries. Within this theme, I have specific interests
in: Sustainable resource and environmental management; hazards and hazard
mitigation; environmental impact assessment; sustainable development; capacity
building; waste management; parks and protected areas. Over the next three
years (2006-2008) I am especially keen to supervise students in the "hazards/hazard
mitigation" and "sustainable resource and environmental management"
themes.
