Environment and Resource Studies offers a 2-year Master of Environmental Studies (MES) program and a PhD program in Social and Ecological Sustainability.

Like our undergraduate program, the graduate programs in ERS is unique in its mix of transdisciplinary understanding and problem-solving combined with the ability to focus your thesis research on a narrower problem or issue.

We emphasize that students should choose their graduate research topic based on their own interests and background. Our graduate students are valued in the job market and recognized for their academic excellence with major scholarships. Learn more about how to apply.
